Start Your Day with CBD – 10 Healthy Breakfast Ideas

How do you feel about the most important meal of the day? Well, maybe not THE most important, but a healthy breakfast certainly impacts how your day starts. So, you better eat right and healthy! And by healthy, we don’t mean something that looks and feels like eating a piece of plastic.

Most of us normally grab a cup of coffee and a muesli bar just to make through the first couple of hours.  Nooooo! Just 5 minutes is what you need, don’t be lazy. A healthy and delicious breakfast doesn’t have to be time-consuming. It can lift you up and prepare for a whole day of ups and downs.

And if you are trying to avoid or cut back on sugar, wheat or dairy, you can find healthy but decent substitutes like goji berries, chia seed, and almond milk.

The first thing you need is our list of 10 yummiest, healthy breakfast recipes. You will taste great flavors, and feel that energy coming. From simple but healthy smoothies to excellent egg variations, we’ve got you covered.

   1. Honey Apple Toast

Use the whole grain bread, part-skim ricotta cheese, tiny apple slices, and a little bit of honey. Get honey and mix it up with ricotta cheese and apple slices. Indulge a delightful sandwich full of protein (from the cheese) and vitamins, for a good start of your day.

   2. Smoothies and CBD Isolate

Smoothies became the mainstream of healthy breakfast foods. Beyond being healthy, sometimes a bit creamy and delicious, they are easy and super quick to prepare. And super-efficient for your daily CBD intake!

We are not kidding you – it is real food, with just a few ingredients and add-ons, with absolutely no cooking. And if you are just not a morning person, it can stay overnight to be whizzed up just before you eat. You can “eat” it on the go, and not to think about using CBD the whole day after.

So, take a couple of strawberries or raspberries, an apple, ½ of a banana,  a few goji berries, some coconut or almond milk. Whizz it and you’ve got yourself a morning -power smoothie. Choose from tropical fruit to a nutrient-rich green smoothie, full of fiber and rich in essential fatty acids. Anything you like or you can think of!

   3. Healthy poached eggs

Try not to avoid eggs- they are high in protein and could save you from sudden sugar cravings. If you cook them right and watch what you eat with them, they are a great choice!

Fill the frying pan with water and boil it with a sprinkle of sea salt. Crack eggs and cook until the whites are firm and the yolk is still soft in the center. Take them out the water and serve with chopped tomatoes, onions, fresh parsley, and spinach. You can add some CBD isolate after, with a few spices of your choice.

   4. Healthy Banana Pancakes

These are the real deal, with a batter made only from bananas and eggs; you can cook them in minutes. Mash up bananas in a large bowl, whisk eggs and add to banana paste. Fry gently in a medium heat pan, with just a little butter or oil. No added sugar and gluten-free and it’s full of vitamin b6 – which is normally found in fish and meat.

   5. Chia Seed Pudding

Chia seeds are known as nutrition powerhouses and they can absorb up to 27 times their weight in water. Packed with antioxidants, omega-3 fatty acids, fiber, protein and calcium, they are a perfect way to start a day.  Just put seeds in the milk of your choice and leave them in the fridge overnight, and you’ll have a pudding by morning.

   6. Yogurt and fresh fruit

Use a low-fat yogurt and serve it with fresh fruit salad to get yourself a lovely, healthy breakfast. Use any fruit you like and to sprinkle it with any superfoods you have. The choice of superfoods nowadays is great, from Acai or Goji berries to seeds and nuts. Mix the seeds and nuts in a coffee grinder and store to use it later. Use them with yogurt, or just sprinkle it over fruit salad. It goes without saying that adding CBD isolate to the mixture is as natural as it gets! This would be excellent for your immune system, help you with any digestive system issue, and it’s good for the skin.

   7. Avocado toast

Avocado toast is by far among the most popular healthy breakfast.  This is what you’ll do: mash the avocado, lime, salt, and pepper. Spread half of the mixture on each slice of toasted bread. Top with a scrambled or poached egg if desired.

   8. Tofu Scramble

This is a popular vegan breakfast dish. Tofu scramble has a similar texture to scrambled eggs. Add some onions and peppers, or some spinach and mushrooms. It’s packed with protein, a really great way to start a day.

   9. Quinoa Breakfast Bowl

Like every breakfast bowl, you can put what you have in your fridge and adapt. Combine the crunch of toasted almonds, the sweetness of peaches or pears with blueberries to make a delightful union of textures and flavors. Top it with a pinch of quinoa and some almond milk.

  10. Peanut Banana Smoothie

This peanut banana breakfast smoothie is great for both kids and adults. This is a tasty flavor combination of peanut butter and bananas, and a pinch of cinnamon. Mix coconut yogurt, peanut butter, and a banana. Add some fresh berries and nuts for the ultimate indulgence.

It’s never been easier to get tasty, nutritious breakfast whether it’s high-protein, or a healthy smoothie to fuel you through the morning. Time to rise and shine!
